How the Status Seeking Monkeys came to be.

Picture this: a good friend is in town from Vegas, he strolls out out of his hotel room heading for the pool decked head-to-toe in designer threads, even rocking a Louis Vuitton man bag. I couldn't resist shouting across the pool, 'Dude, you're like a status-seeking monkey!'

He cracked up and hit me back with, 'Yeah, amigo, I'm totally a status-seeking monkey.' And just like that, the whole idea for the status-seeking monkey shoes came to life.
